Bishop vs Carmouche: revenge, and a new belt
This was a rematch of the 2025 PFL World Tournament final, which Carmouche won by third-round TKO in August 2025. Carmouche started strongly on Friday too. In PFL’s highlights she hurts Bishop with hooks and an elbow, pins her against the fence and lands hammerfists on the mat. By the bell, though, she was tiring.
From there, Bishop’s grappling took over. She kept getting takedowns. In the third round she took Carmouche’s back and nearly finished a rear-naked choke, but Carmouche survived. After five rounds all three judges scored it 48-47 for Bishop.
This was so great. I love fighting in Chicago. I fought here twice this year, and had a great outcome both times… I think this one means a little bit more than what I’ve done in the past. (Jena Bishop, via PFL)
Khizriev survives Braga to stay unbeaten
Khizriev, the 2024 PFL featherweight tournament champion, was back after a long layoff, and Braga had a loss to him to avenge. It was the closest fight of the night. On PFL’s broadcast, Braga hurt Khizriev several times, and the commentators wondered whether round two had been a 10-8. Khizriev recovered each time and kept working behind his jab. Two judges scored it 29-28 for him and one gave it to Braga 29-28. Khizriev is now 19-0.
The rest of the card
Sarvarjon Khamidov dropped Rafael do Nascimento with a short left hook and finished him with hammerfists at 1:49 of round one, his second straight PFL stoppage. Oualy Tandia went to 6-0 with a unanimous decision over JP Saint Louis in his PFL debut. The prelims produced eight finishes. Kevin Pease and Cobey Fehr won by rear-naked choke, and Levan Khabalaev needed just 1:01.

What’s next
PFL hasn’t announced who Bishop defends against first, or what’s next for Khizriev. Before the fight, PFL said a win would move Khizriev closer to a world title shot. The promotion’s next event is PFL Dubai on 14 November, headlined by Vadim Nemkov defending his heavyweight title against Sergei Bilostenniy.
