Darren Till beat Yoel Romero by unanimous decision at BKFC 94 on Saturday 26 September at the AO Arena in Manchester. All three judges scored the five-round main event 49-46 for the Liverpool fighter. In the co-main, Bolton’s Jack Cullen took the BKFC world middleweight title from David Mundell after a sudden-death sixth round. Results below are from Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC)‘s official results report and event page, cross-checked with MMA Fighting, FightMag and Combat Press.

Till vs Romero: unanimous on the cards, closer in the press
Two former UFC title challengers met in the main event. Till weighed in at 188.8 lb and Romero at 189. The judges had it 49-46, 49-46, 49-46 for Till, who is now 2-0 in BKFC. Romero, the former Olympic silver medallist, drops to 1-1 by BKFC’s count.
Press coverage suggests it was closer than those numbers look. MMA Fighting and MMA Mania both reported that Romero dropped Till right at the end of round three, a knockdown BKFC’s official results report doesn’t mention, and both described Till bleeding in round four. MMA Mania’s round-by-round scoring had Till winning four rounds to one. MMA Fighting’s had Romero winning four rounds to one.
BKFC’s president wasn’t thrilled either. At the post-fight press conference, David Feldman called the main event “a little lackluster” and said that for the money he paid, the fighters “need to risk a little more”. Till went straight to call-outs: Tommy Fury and Mike Perry, then faced off in the ring with BKFC ironweight champion Lorenzo Hunt and told him: “If you come to me, Lorenzo, you’ll get slept!” None of those fights is booked.
Cullen takes Mundell’s title in overtime
This was the fight of the night, and BKFC gave it the bonus. Mundell was going for his fifth defence of the world middleweight belt. After five rounds it was scored a draw, so they went to a sudden-death sixth round. Two judges then had it for Cullen (58-55, 57-56) and one for Mundell (57-56).
Cullen is now 3-0 in BKFC. Mundell drops to 10-3. Unbeaten John Garbarino, sitting ringside, climbed into the ring afterwards to stake his claim, and Cullen’s answer was simple: “Show me where the money is and I’ll (expletive) go anywhere!”
UK titles: Corran and Thompson
Gaz Corran got up off the canvas against Mac Bygraves and scored three knockdowns of his own. The fight was stopped 26 seconds into round three, giving Corran the inaugural BKFC UK middleweight title and a 3-0 record. Then he called out Mike Perry too. Karl Thompson kept his UK cruiserweight belt with a 50-45 sweep of the previously unbeaten Andy Thornton.
The rest of the card
Joe Lister also came back from a knockdown and stopped Harry Bray with two seconds left in round two, which earned him Performance of the Night. Bartlomiej Krol needed 55 seconds and two knockdowns to finish Luke Vaughan. Three more bouts ended with the ringside doctor stopping it between rounds. Mikey Henderson moved to 4-0 against Matthew Wiwczaryk, Stew Martin dropped Joshy Williams three times, and Leigh Cohoon beat Ste Wallwork.
On the free prelims, Benjamin Lowe got his first BKFC win by stopping Dan McGraffin at 1:42 of the first round. Tyrone Hamer knocked out Liam Dooley with one second left in round three, and Luke Bassnett beat Darren Willans in the opening bout after three knockdowns. BKFC gave the attendance as 15,894.
