Corrections

If something on Sports Strike is wrong, we want to fix it. That includes results, records, dates, start times, names and weight classes.

How to report a mistake

Use the contact form. Start your message with “Correction” and include:

  • the URL of the page
  • what is wrong and what it should say
  • a source, if you have one, such as the official result, BoxRec, Tapology or Sherdog

What happens next

An editor checks your report against the official source. If we got it wrong, we correct the page. If the source supports what we published, we leave it and, if you gave us your email, tell you why.

We deal with corrections as quickly as possible.

How corrections are shown

When a correction changes a fact in an article, such as a result, a record, a date or a name, we fix the text and add a short note at the end saying what changed and when.

Typos and small wording fixes that don’t change the meaning are corrected without a note.

Records and results

Fighter records and results on event pages change as fights happen. When we update them after a new fight, that is an update, not a correction.
