About

Sports Strike is an English-language news site for fighting sports: MMA, boxing, kickboxing and bare knuckle. We cover fight cards, results and the fighters behind them, with a close eye on Latvia and the rest of the Baltics.

What we cover

We follow 13 promotions, each with its own hub: UFC, PFL, BRAVE CF, KSW, OKTAGON, BKFC, KOK, CombatX, Hexagone MMA, Babilon MMA, Evecon RAJU, Bazara0 and UTMA. A hub keeps that promotion’s news, events, results and fighters in one place.

You’ll find fight previews, event pages with start times and where to watch, results after the fights, and fighter profiles with their records.

Why the Baltics

Latvian, Lithuanian and Estonian fighters compete on local shows and on big international cards. Keeping up with them usually means checking several sites in several languages. We bring it together in one place, in English, next to the wider fight world they compete in.

Who we are

Sports Strike is written and edited by the Sports Strike desk in Riga. Our video side, Sports Strike TV, posts clips and fight-night coverage on social media.

How we check facts and use sources is set out in our editorial policy. If you spot a mistake, see corrections.

Betting partners

Some pages show odds and offers from our betting partners, with links to their sites. If you sign up through one of those links, we may earn a commission. Our partners have no say in what we cover or what we write.

Betting is for adults only (18+). Gambling can be addictive, so set limits and only bet what you can afford to lose. For help, visit BeGambleAware.org. In Latvia you can block yourself from all licensed gambling through the self-exclusion register (Pašatteikušos personu reģistrs), run by the State Revenue Service (VID).
